How to Fend off Proselytizing Christians

I read an article about Christians harassing people in Barnes & Noble. Unless you’re a fundamentalist Christian, you probably find this unwelcomed. I will tell you how to get rid of those people quickly and politely. It’s worked for me, and it should work for you. They’ll be happy, and you’ll be satisfied.

Let me tell you that I was raised in a Baptist Church. I had a difficult childhood, and religion was a great source of comfort. As an adult, I formed my own opinions about religion. I’m open to all possibilities, including atheism. I don’t dwell on it. We’ll all find out in the end.

People often ask why Christians push their religion on other people. We’re all familiar with the Jehovah’s Witnesses knocking on our doors in the U.S. The solution to that problem is don’t answer the door. Not all Christians do this, but it’s important to understand why some do. They honestly believe that you're going to hell if you aren’t Christian. Your soul will burn in hell for eternity. Can you think of anything worse?

Back to the article, I read about Christians harassing the writer in Barnes & Noble. If I can find the article again, I’ll leave a link. This person was bombarded by a group of Christians while perusing the philosophy section of Barnes & Noble. They formed a circle around her, and a little boy handed her a pamphlet. Then…
