Sticker Shock in California

I’ve been back in California for two weeks. I’m living with my sister-in-law, Patti, and driving her car. She added me to her car insurance at no extra cost. She is disabled and, spends most of her time at home, and doesn’t drive anymore. I appreciate not having a car insurance bill to pay every month, but Patti insists on putting premium gas in the car, which is $6.00 a gallon. It costs $100.00 to fill up her tank.
