Meet a Blue-footed Booby

A hurricane recently traveled up the Western coast of Mexico. The morning after the storm, I took a walk down the street to see what damage the buildings suffered and found this bird standing quietly against the wall. What kind of bird is it, I wondered? Notice the blue webbed feet. I moved in close to take some pictures. I think he might have let me pet him, but I thought it better not to.
