Wow! Who would want a mother-in-law like that in the first place. She would have had her nose in all of your business. I have three children and five grandchildren. One of my sons knew he didn't want children when he was 15 years old. He didn't get involved with women who wanted children. He is married to a woman who also doesn't want children. I know of a lot of women who never wanted children, and later in life they don't regret their decision. There is nothing wrong with you, and you made the right decision to get out of that relationship. Good for you for sticking to your principles.
